Brentwood Associates and LNK Partners both invested in Ariat in 2006. As of 2012, the company is managed by the Donald Fisher family and is now based in Alameda County, California. Ariat is currently the world’s largest brand of riding footwear with retail outlets in 42 countries.

Ariat is the official supplier of equestrian apparel and footwear to the FEI (Federation Equestrian International). Olympic athletes and elite show jumpers have proudly ridden onto the track clad in Ariat. Ariat also has provided sponsorship for Winter Equestrian Festival, Central Park Horse Show, Tryon Park Equestrian Center, and Washington International Horse Shows. Ariat is also the official supplier of equestrian apparel and footwear to the WSTR (World Series of Team Roping) and is the official footwear sponsor of the PBR (Professional Bull Riding). They not only sponsors big name rodeo champions, but encourages the future cowpokes by providing footwear for NHSRA (National High School Rodeo Association).
